Overall this season he has limited opponents to a .208 (22x106) average, while walking 14 and striking out 21. Although the Yankee slugger needed only 63 games to reach 30 homers in 1928 and 68 games in 1930, Junior accomplishes the feat in the Mariners 70th game of the season.
