My purpose in writing this book is to share with everybody, young and old, sick and well, the different forms of Qigong exercises that I have learnt and practiced for twenty-six years to regain my health. It contains useful information that provides knowledge and facts about the uniqueness of each Qigong practice. Each section has its own distinct areas, including proven and practical methods on how to prevent inaccurate practices. Hence, the purpose of this book is to bring readers to the point of knowing and understanding how to go about maintaining good health.
It is my hope that this book and the essential Traditional Chinese Qigong (TCQ) exercises it describes will be like the key that opens the door for us to enter into living a healthier and longer life. It is also my wish to see everyone, irrespective of age, sex, culture, and physical condition, be inspired by the therapeutic potency of Qigong practice and not miss the chance to learn.
