No one now knows or remembers why or at least those that do aren't saying. All we know is that the nations of the Earth decided we needed a new home and there was little time left to wait. With that the Federation Naval Fleet was commissioned and set forth on a six year journey to find a new place for our species to call home. History says that came at a great price and now we have the evidence of that cost.
In this prequel to the short story series learn all about the world of "Letters From a Distant Star" as each new chapter opens in letters from the men in women responsible for planting the flag on this new planet we call Daedalus and what it took to keep its fledgling society safe as it took root there.
