Since the January release of the Vine video platform, marketers across Twitter have tracked the proliferation of these trivial, six-second curiosities. But while some marketers wait for the platform to reveal its utility, others are taking the chance to pave the way and reap the benefits of early adoption. This paper explores the functionality of Vine, and, based on how early-adopter brands are currently succeeding on the platform, recommends some applications of Vine for marketers in the Quick Service Restaurant category.
