This is the vote from the 2013 Medicaid Special Session that concerned whether Mississippians would all be able to participate in a state-run healthcare exchange. Currently, due to the refusal of Gov. Phil Bryant (R), Mississippians will only be able to participate in a federally-run exchange. That federal exchange has only one provider participating, and does not cover 36 of Mississippi's 82 counties.
