As you can

see, theserequests

are

fairly narrowly targeted

and

would

not

reach

intelligence

info

within

OSD,

So/LIC,

J2, etc

related

to the

issue

of

planes

as

weapons.

As I

mentioned,

we

drafted

a

memo

to

Philip after

our

NEADS visit expressing

our

concern that there

may be a gap in theCommission's

fact finding

re

this issue

(at

least with respect

to

DoD)

and

asking

for his

guidance

as to who

among

the

staff should pursue these issues;

we

have

not

heard back

from

him.

I

have

had

conversations with Bonnie, Mike

and

Lome about this issue,

so I'm

copying

them

on

this message. This draft

is

with

the

front office

and

we're hoping

to get it out

late

this week

or

early next week. Please keep

us

posted

on how you
