the “Renewing Our Strength” Strategic Plan or Maryville College was approved by the Board o Directors on Oct. 18, 2012, andprovides a vision or its bicentennial in 2019. The two major goalsor this period are achieving fnancial stability and ensuring a vitalacademic program that is relevant in its time and place. These goalsare undamental to Maryville College continuing to accomplish itsmission to prepare students or lives o citizenship and leadership.Connecting the Maryville College o yesterday, today and tomorrow,this plan reafrms the College’s belie in the liberal arts as a distinctiveand successul approach to education, the College’s commitment toaith and learning, and the College’s desire to embrace change. Oneguiding purpose in this plan is that, in 2019, Isaac Anderson wouldboth recognize and approve o the College he ounded.From 2013 to 2019, Maryville College will ocus on ostering theholistic personal development and proessional preparation o itsstudents in a church-related, residential liberal arts setting.I encourage you to look over this publicationand see how and where you might getinvolved.
