Terms & Conditions

GENERAL CONDITIONS

Subject to the Telecommunications Law and Regulations, the service is for the use of the
owners/beneficiaries of the phone line onto which service is provided. The Customer hereby
undertakes not to distribute or sell or share the service with others through networks, wired or
wireless, whether free or paid. If this occurs, the Company shall terminate the service immediately and
shall - without a prior warning - take all necessary legal actions. Any payments made by the customer
Customer hereby warrants that s/he is 18 years of age or more, or possesses legal parental consent,
and is fully able and competent to enter into these Terms and Conditions.
If the service has been previously activated by another service provider through the same phone line
subject to this contract, the customer needs to obtain a service cancellation from the said provider to
facilitate the contracting process with TE Data.
If there is any conflict / difference between this document and more recently updated Terms and
Conditions published on the companys website, the latter shall prevail.
SUBSCRIPTION FEES

The customer commits to pay the subscription fees on or before due dates according to the
announced prices in addition to outstanding payments (if any). If the customer does not pay a due
payment, TE Data has the right to suspend or terminate the service. In case of reactivation, the
customer agrees to incur the reactivation fees estimated by the company in addition to the due

any other time determined by the company.
All payments are non-refundable (unless the service has not been provided to the customer).
The customer must maintain the receipt evidencing his payment. TE Data shall not be held responsible
for payments made at the outlets of its affiliates and partners unless such proof of payment has been
provided by the customer.
The customer agrees to pay LE 50 admin fees for switching from Unlimited or optimum to Limited
service.
Service prices are subject to change.
RENTED EQUIPMENT

All Rented equipments (modem, router, etc) are the property of TE Data and the customer must
commit to maintain them in perfect condition and return them (with all accessories) to TE Data upon
its request or upon contract expiration.

The customer shall pay compensation if a rented device is damaged or lost. The value of compensation
shall be determined by TE Data provided that it shall not exceed the selling price of the device at the

time of subscription.
SERVICE SUSPENSION / TERMINATION

The customer may suspend the service temporarily. In which case, a suspension fee applies and is due
for every suspended month. To be paid in advance
TE Data has the right to take all necessary actions if proven that the customer misuses the service in
ways that do not cohere to the Telecommunications Law and the instructions of the National
Telecommunications Regulatory Authority or TE Datas Fair usage Policy. Such misuse of the service
shall be determined by the Company.
The customer has the right to terminate the service by applying to terminate the service after paying
all due amounts to TE Data. The customer shall also return the rented equipment in the same
condition received to be released from liability. Cancellation of the service shall be effective within 15
working days from the date of notification.
TE Data has the right to suspend or terminate the service if the customer delays to pay any due
payments.
CONTRACT TERM

The term for providing the service shall be one year starting from the date of activating the service
and shall be automatically renewed for similar periods, unless one of the parties notifies the other of
his intention not to renew the contract one month prior to the expiration of the current term. The
renewal of the contract shall be on the same or different Terms and Conditions.

LIABILITY

TE Data shall not be held responsible for service problems pertaining to Customers phone line,
computer, internal wiring of telephone or computer networks (if any).
TE Data is not responsible for any moral or physical damages resulting from using the service.

TE Data does not guarantee that the service will be completely free of any errors or that it might stop
temporarily due to force majeure and unforeseen/unplanned outages.
TE Data has the right to make any necessary amendments or changes to the services provided by the
company without prior approval from the customer.
TE Data assumes no responsibility for the internet sites, content, files, and activities done by the
customer using the service. The customer is solely responsible for all his actions and their
consequences.
Cyber Crimes shall be governed by and constructed in accordance with the laws of Egypt and will be
the sole responsibility of the customer. TE Data will not be held responsible for any acts of Cyber
Crimes.

JURISDICTION

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and constructed in accordance with the laws of
Egypt. Disputes arising here from shall be exclusively subject to the jurisdiction of the competent Cairo
Court. Any cause of action you may have with respect to your use of this site must be commenced
within one (1) year after the claim or cause of action arises.

Customer has the choice between getting one of these products:

1-Duetto 1M on the speed of 1 Mega ADSL from T.E.Data + voice calls where local and
national calls are not limited to the number of calls or minutes from Telecom Egypt for
monthly subscription of 199 pounds payable to T.E.Data
2-Duetto 2M on the speed of 2 Mega ADSL from T.E.Data + voice calls where local and
national calls are not limited to the number of calls or minutes+ Two hundred minutes of
free phone service from fixed to mobile within the Arab Republic of Egypt for a monthly
subscription 299 pounds payable to T.E.Data

This product does not apply to Telecom Egypt subscribers with any special privileges

By signing these terms and conditions the customer agrees to be switched to monthly
billing in accordance with the billing system Telecom Egypt, and the client hereby agrees
to activate the mobile voice service on the subject line (line on which the Duetto service is
activated).

To activate this product the client should be either the owner of the land line or has the
written consent of the owner of the land line.
This product is available for domestic use only.

Customer's signature on these terms and conditions is not considered an amendment or
cancellation of the original contract signed between him and Telecom Egypt or request
for service between the client and T.E.Data
The customer shall pay the monthly subscription fee in advance, and the excess
consumption in the following month.

The company has the right to stop the Duetto service in any of these cases : a.The
customer rejects to pay the monthly subscription and/ or the excess usage (T.E.Data will
disconnect the Data and voice service will be disconnected by Telecom Egypt). b.
Customer does not abide by fair usage policy on data and voice services
