The European Nutrition for Health Alliance

The European Nutrition for Health Alliance (ENHA) works with key stakeholders to improve nutritional care by actively promoting implementation of nutrition risk screening and follow up care across Europe. Research by ENHA and its partners demonstrates the impact of malnutrition on both individuals, health and social care systems. In 2012 ENHA signed a collaboration agreement with the European Patients Forum (EPF) and The European Patients Network for Medical Research and Health (EGAN). We provide a bridge to unite and support health and social care professionals, hospitals, healthcare managers, health insurers, industry, advocacy institutions, and policy-makers in the ght against undernutrition. ENHA partners from all disciplines work together to improve nutritional care across Europe through: Implementation of nutrition risk screening and care across Europe Public awareness Partnership working Policy development Health education and training Our strength lies in the multidisciplinary Alliance and its membership, and working with key partners participating in European Programmes including: - Observer to WHO EURO for the Food and Nutrition Plan 2014 - 2020 - Member of the EIP AHA A3 Action Group on Frailty and Functional Decline, responsible for co-ordinating groups on Undernutrition and Screening - Widely recognised as leading organisation on nutrition and health in Europe
