An Environmental Brieng
This book was prepared by a coalition of groups andindividuals who are passionate about providing good air to breathe, protecting our rights to clean sweet water to drinkand advocating for the rights of all of us to live in healthy sus-tainable communities. We are involved in rebuilding the coast, protecting our cypress forests and educating our children topreserve our natural environment. Each of the groups may not agree with every point in the book as written so we wantthe readers to know that the content and source of materi-al is solely the responsibility of the individual organizationsand their representative authors. Our overall goal is topresent a variety of solutions for Louisiana’s future and toprovide resources on environmental topics to enrichand inform the debate. We have a companion web with links to each of the groups andmore detailed information about each of the topics presented.
