What are the dates and times?

What is the admission charge?
Four Mile Historic Park Members: FreeMilitary (w/ID): FreeAdults: $7Seniors (65+) & Youth (7-17): $4Children 6 & under: freeGlendale, CO residents will receive free admission, courtesy of the City of Glendale. Proof of residencymust be shown to receive free admission.***You may join as a member of Four Mile Historic Park the day of the event by visiting the MEMBERENTRANCE.
Is the event ADA accessible?
Yes, the July 4
Celebration is ADA accessible. However, due to the history nature of the Four MileHouse Museum it is not ADA accessible. Please keep in mind that the terrain is rough and may beuneven in spots. Please bring heavy-duty strollers and/or wheelchairs. Handicapped parking is available.
Can I bring my dog/cat/parrot/iguana or other pet?
No animals, except service, are allowed inside Four Mile Historic Park.Four Mile Historic Park welcomes persons with disabilities and their service animals and works to ensurethat all visitors have access to equivalent satisfying experiences during their visit. We support theconcept of service animals and recognize the great benefits they can provide to disabled persons.Four Mile Historic Park also recognizes that it has a strong responsibility to the collection of animalsunder its care, and must do everything it can to protect those animals. In view of this responsibility, werequest all persons with service animals provide proof of service animal license or have their serviceanimal wear a service collar or harness to aide in the identification of a service animal versus a pet. No, we do not have strollers, wagons, or wheelchairs onsite.
Where is the event located and is there parking available?
Old Fashioned July 4
Celebration is located at Four Mile Historic Park: 715 S. Forest Street, Denver,80246. When parking for the event, please note that street and garage parking is available alongExposition Avenue. Street parking is also available along Forest Street. Visitors may enter through ourmain entrance at the Grant Family Education Center (large, gray, barn-like structure) or our back gate atthe dead-end of Forest Street and Exposition Avenue. The Four Mile Historic Park Parking Lot is reservedfor Handicapped visitors. Thank you for your cooperation. Parking is FREE!
What does the admission cover at Old Fashioned July 4
All visitors must pay admission to enter the celebration. Your admission fee includes a tour of the FourMile House Museum, arts and crafts, historic demonstrations, live entertainment, pioneer games, goldpanning, and much more.Additional charges within the event include horse-drawn wagon rides, food and beverages, and gift shopor vendor purchases.When you attend a special event at Four Mile Historic Park, not only are you getting a uniqueexperience, you’re also supporting one of Denver’s oldest landmarks. As a nonprofit, Four Mile HistoricPark relies on a variety of sources, including the revenues from special events, to fund its operations.Your admission acts as both access to an event and a great way to support Four Mile Historic Park’scultural programming. Together, we can continue to preserve Colorado’s rich heritage!
What types of activities are available for my family or group?
We have activities that will interest all members of your family/group. Everyone can enjoy the FREE tourof the Four Mile House Museum, historic demonstrations, live entertainment, crafts, games, children’sactivity area and more. The onsite information booth and event site map will provide all eventinformation.
What type of food is available?
 The Food Tent (open from 11am-3pm) will have both hot and cold food items, as well as beveragesavailable for purchase. Food Tent Menu: Hamburgers, Veggie Burgers, Beef Hot Dogs, Potato Salad,Coleslaw, Watermelon, Chips, Cookies, and String Cheese. Beverages will include a variety of soft drinksand bottled water for $1 each.Our Ice Cream and Float Shoppe will be located in the Grove for a refreshing treat.There will also be a Kettle Corn vendor on site during the event.
