Twelth annual county cowgirlqueen, junior queen contest set
he Ringgold County Cow-girl Queen and Junior QueenContest will once again beheld on Thursday, July 11, at6 p.m.The contest will end withthe crowing of the CowgirlQueen and Junior Queen be-fore the rodeo, which startsat 7:30 p.m.All contestants will ridein the Grand Entry of the ro-deo and the queens will becrowned by the 2012 Ring-gold County Cowgirl QueenAlexandra Eischeid.The contest will begin atapproximately 6 p.m. in thegrandstand with the publicinvited to attend. Contestantswill be given an impromptuquestion, will dress in a
western outt and complete
the western pleasure ridingpattern and the rodeo queensalute. Contestants will beexpected to follow AQHArules and regulations.The contest is open to res-idents of Ringgold, Decaturand Taylor counties or mem-bers of the Ringgold CountySaddle Club.Junior Queen contestantsmust be between the agesof 10 and 15 years of ageby January 1, 2013. SeniorQueen contestants must bebetween the ages of 16 and26 years of age by January 1,2013.Applications are availablefrom the Ringgold county

ed application and waiverneed to be returned to theRinggold County Extension
Ofce by 12 noon on Friday,

Cassidy Becker, a member of the Twin River Tornadoes 4-H Club, will bring herbreeding beef project to the fair. She is the daughter of Joe and Susan Becker of Di-agonal.
