Alright, I said the Living Altar was going to be my last one of these.

But I noticed a distinct lack of something A lack of a darker cuddler. The thought occurred to me that all the previous cuddlers blessed and channeled divine deities of ALL sorts, yet their effects were always positive ones. What if a cuddler paid more attention to while not necessarily the evil deities but the deities who represent aspects such as Destruction, Wrath, Fury, Retribution, Justice, and so on. So here Im attempting The Curseweave Cuddler. A perform check might be required here, or Level 1st 2nd 3rd 4th 5th 6th 7th 8th 9th 10th 11th 12th 13th 14th 15th 16th 17th 18th 19th 20th BaB

* Lore Stuff Here (Though Ive started to lose faith in Lore and Fluff, its all such subjective stuff And really it depends on the settings the homebrew is being used in)+ The Curseweave Cuddler can easily be adapted to almost any perform skill other than Cuddles. It might also be effective if instead of a perform skill entirely, you make a touch attack in combat then make a following touch attack at a -5 penalty in order to touch the same spot as the previous touch in order to seal a curse on them. The first touch laying the groundwork and the following touch sealing it upon them.

more fitting a Knowledge: [Cuddles/Religion/Arcane/Planar/ect], as part of the second attack once contact is made in order to seal the effect. It might also be noted that you can simply change the name to whatever you wish for the setting its to reside in. The Curseweave Cuddler is simply a filler name.

Class Features: Hit Die: d6 Skills: 6 points.

Weapons and Armor: Simple weapons, no armor, no shields. Tempting Body (Ex): As Altars Body. Bonus Feats: As Living Altar. Cuddlecast: As Living Altar. Invocations: As Living Altar. Curse: To be remarkably cheap yet still, as evident in writing only As Living Altar to the above, I can think of nothing better I might do than something that is already done In Ravenloft. At each Curse level the Curseweave Cuddler can inflict a curse of the same stage on anyone they cuddle with. This functions exactly as the Curses as written in the Ravenloft Players Handbook, page eighty nine, but without any of the dark powers and increasing evilness checks. In addition, the curse is not spoken aloud but is simply activated. Activating a curse can be done at any time after the Curseweave has cuddled with the recipient within a time limit set by the cuddle itself. One minute equals one day. The range within the Curseweave can activate a curse depends on the level of Curses she is capable of inflicting. A first level Curseweave can inflict their curse within a range of 800 feet. At fifth level this becomes one mile, ten miles at tenth, anywhere on the same plane at 15th, and anywhere at all at 20th level except through higher planes such as the Fugue Plane for example (The place permanently slain Devils go). The Curseweave must still craft the curse as normal, even if the words may never be heard. The victim who succeeds on a DC 40 wisdom check can come to the conclusion that they are cursed, the DC being reduced by 1 every time they suffer a negative effect brought on by the curse (Even if its a roleplaying or otherwise social negative effect and not a strictly mechanical one, such as a servant fleeing the disfigured presence of their cursed master).

Like the Living Altar is compelled to give cuddles and in turn healing or communion to those who ask, a Curseweaver is similarly compelled. A Curseweave is compelled, with no will save, to tell the person cursed what the curse is. This functions even if its indirectly, but in turn the Curseweave can give an indirect response (Such as through a letter, or making it seem as if they discovered this knowledge through other means and they themselves are not the culprit). Creatures can subtract their knowledge (Religion) ranks from the DC, and reduce the DC by 5 for however many times theyve been subject to curses in the past. The nature of these curses can be incredibly varied and may seem like a do-anything ability within the confines of the potency of the curse, but all the curses must be negative. This at least cuts the usefulness in half. Beneficial effects can come about through curses but they must have at least an equally negative effect. Such as cursing someone in a manner that gives them wings, but also crippling their land speed as well as one other smaller effect to balance the flight.
