Did you know April is Financial Literacy Month? Our good friends fromSTARTCommunity Bankare presenting a three-part financial literacy series to our Education and Enrichment Center (EEC) class, a 60 hour rigorous program for people who wish to better themselves through education and enrichment.START is a community development bank committed to partnering with the peopleand businesses of New Haven to serve as a catalyst for social and economicimprovement."We hope this series will give students the tools they need to make educatedbanking decisions in the future," said Patricia Scussel, Vice President of Community and Business Development, START Community Bank.The series offers budgeting and savings, intro to checking, the responsible use of credit and building a better credit report. We are thrilled that START CommunityBank is reaching out to help our clients gain trust in financial institutions andoffering strategies for their financial stability.
