Similar-ly, online home property searches tend to split pricesearch options into $25,000blocks. Pricing a home usingthe “99” technique may belimiting how many times your home comes up inproperty searches.Let’s say a buyer isprequalified for a $250,000home loan. She jumps on theinternet or tells her RealEstate agent to look for theperfect home listed between$225,000-$250,000. If you’vepriced your home at $249.999, no problem, you’llbe in the running. But if shestarts looking for a homepriced between $250,000 -$275,000, your listing will not show up.
