This presentation discusses the role that architects and planners can have in improving urban conditions: socially, politically and environmentally. It highlights areas needing urgent attention and in which we could do much better. It concludes by presenting the work done Architects for Peace—a work in progress, work that can be improved with more input from "activist architects".
