The story in todays Gospel is meant to instruct us to
understand what it means to love our neighbor and
to love God. How do you demonstrate your belief in Christ by
actions of love toward others? What accepted practices are present
in our society today but are contrary to the Gospel?

Praying for Vocations
Praying for vocations with the Paulist
Mission Cross. Our joint UCC and St. Austin
vocations committee invites families or
individuals to sign up to receive a Paulist
Mission Cross that will be given out each
week at the end of our 10:30 am Mass. The
volunteers will take the Mission Cross home
with them along with a book of vocation
prayers with which they will pray during the
week. They will then bring the Cross and prayer booklet back the
following week and another family or individual will be invited to
take it for prayer. Dont miss this opportunity to have a Paulist
Mission Cross for a week in your home. Sign up today at the UCC
front desk or by emailing MatthewA@utcatholic.org

Your efforts are paying off! Many thanks to
our community for supporting the UCC's
energy efficiency initiatives. As a result of
your stewardship and continued energy
management from the business office, our
electricity billing was reduced by $205 to
$275 dollars per month in the months of
March, April, and May 2013 when compared with the same months
in 2012. These are savings we are happy to apply to our programs
and ministry. To support an energy saving initiative at the UCC,
please contact me at meghan@utcatholic.org.
