At the April club shoot Mike Rossorganized a novelty slingshotcompetition. Some of our members took advantage of trying it out. It sounds like they hada good time. If you’re interested insetting something up again, talk toMike when he’s at the range or clubmeetings.May 3

, GCA hosted the Traveling 3D. I waspleasantly surprised at the number of volunteers who brought food. Thanks tomembers Sid & Donna Turek and Chris &Tiffany Long for all your help with serving andcleaning up. It sure makes it run smoother whenthere’s a lot of help!GCA is also going to host an ASA qualifier shoot on May 31

. Rick thought we should doanother pot luck lunch to raise money for theclub. Give us a call, or come to the meeting tolet us know how you can help.Since the Regional Field is in Miami on May17, the club shoot has been cancelled.I’m going to be busy working on the SpanishSummer Exchange Program I coordinate, so Iprobably won’t be putting out a newsletter in thesummer. You have the calendar throughAugust. John does a great job keeping thewebsite updated, so check there or call anofficer for information.May you always hit where you aim, and aimin the right spot!

Any fresh ideasare welcome!Mike Ross is trying to locate asource and supplier for some quickgrowing trees to help provide uswith some shade out at the rangeif you have any leads contact himor one of the board members!We have a club meeting this Thursday May 14
