The “Youth Speak Out” event will beheld at Miami Carol City Senior High’s auditorium, 3422 NW 187

Street, in Miami Gardens from 6 p.m. to8 p.m.On behalf of the CRB, please approve the deployment of six county employees to serve as GoodwillAmbassadors (GWA) who will assist students and community members who attend. The Ambassadorswill be needed from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Mr. Yvans Morisseau, Office of Community Advocacy willrecruit and coordinate the GWA’s. Please grant the GWA appropriate leave. The event will allow young people ages 21 and under will address a panel of youth leaders and localofficials and be heard before the community at large. Parents, educators, community leaders, andconcerned residents are welcome to listen and observe. Youth panelists include student council leadersfrom Dr. Michael Krop, Norland, Carol City, and American senior high schools, members of Miami-Dade’s Youth Commission, and the Miami-Dade MDEAT Student Court. Other officials expected to be inattendance include Miami-Dade County Commissioner Barbara J.
