BartenderHey, wake her up!ANNEMy mother taught me to sleep standing up. She was a mill rat. Hardwork doesn’t faze me either and there is no point in complaining. JACKIEGet your head off the table. Try to look like you’re still aliveANNESave the phony moans for the customer. If I had to I could turn twentytricks in an hour for five dollars each if I needed a quick hundred.One hundred is still what a ten dollar bag costs, right? Finding twentyhard dicks is the challenge. Accommodating them would be noproblem.Oh my god it drives me crazy listening to you old ladies bitching andcomplaining. ANNE - NARRATION
I know my goal and I go after it. There were six of us growing up. Four older sisters and I had to take care of my little brother. That’s why Istopped after two. I could not see doing anything like that to kids of mine. Do you know what it‘s like having 3 different fathers? Thedamage that can do to a kid? That should be obvious. I was the second one with the milkman. Little Michael’s father is American or so our mother claimed but it didn‘t do her any good.
ANNEMy mom raised us poor but proud. We lived in a beautiful home andmy parents were so in love.
