COMMITTEE REPORT
INTRODUCTIONTHE
WOLF
PACK
Beware offalse prophets who come
to
you
in
sheep’s
clothing,
but
underneath are
ravenous
wolves.
Matthew7:
15
This is a tale of how
a
group
of
people
-
ike a wolf pack, was able torob the government blind. This is
a
story,
so
shocking to the conscience, that would result in gross injustice if institutions, like the Ombudsman, continue to turn a blind eye to clear acts
of
plunder and money launderingby powerful and influential government officials and their pack of wolves. This wolf pack did not only rob the government. Worse,
it
plundered
a
vulnerable sector in this country, the farmers. They did this during theelection year
of
2004.
How did this wolf pack operate? How were they able to plunder suchlarge amounts from the government’s coffers with impunity?
