The Push up challenge is as follows:
Step 1:Pick one of the below push up options (we’ll hope to progress from one level tothe next) and write down, in your journal, your starting point then your goal of eventually completing a total of 10-20 Full push-ups in August at our “Outdoor Bootcamp” in Terrace BC.Step 2:Think of a daily routine that you perform twice a day – everyday (brush your teeth… drink coffee…commute to/from work as examples). All you need is 2minutes total for this challenge…so pick something that you can spare awhopping 2 whole minutes.Step 3:Set a timer/watch for 30 seconds and see how many push-ups you can do in that30 seconds. Take one minute to have a rest, write down the number of completed push-ups and stretch out your wrists. Repeat for a 2
nd
time…hopefullybeating the number of push-ups on your first attempt. The goal is to try and do as many as you can until you physically can’t doanymore - not if your life depended on it - EACH set. If you get to that pointbefore the 30 seconds is up…take a couple of seconds to gather yourself…thensee how many more you can do before the time is up. Once you complete 15-20in that 30 seconds, you should move to the next level of push-ups (Track your progress).
