8. Earth connection 9. Supply pipe o To fuel filter => Page 20-17 o Clipped onto fuel tank o Check securely seated o Black 10. Return pipe o From fuel filter => Page 20-17 o Clipped onto fuel tank o Check securely seated o Blue or with blue marking 11. Fuel gauge sender (G) o Clipped onto reservoir housing in fuel tank o Removing and installing => Page 20-46

12. Sealing ring o When installing, insert seal "dry" into fuel tank opening o Renew if damaged o Moisten with fuel only when installing flange 13. Union nut, 80 Nm o Remove and install with spanner 3217 14. Connector o Black, 4 pin 15. Flange o 1 16. Fuel delivery unit o Removing and installing => Page 20-39 o Checking fuel pump => Page 20-38 o Clean strainer if soiled 17. Reservoir housing outer part o With suction-jet pump o Part of fuel tank

Marking on the sender -1- must align with marking on the fuel tank -2-. Note: After installing fuel gauge sender ensure that the supply pipe and return pipe are securely clipped into fuel tank.
