Our destination is Tanah Kuning Beach, first I will transfer all of you to your home stay in the village and then we go to the Tanah Kuning beach. The bus ride will take about 3 (three) hours. Right now Id like to take a minute to discuss some brief safety precautions. Firstly, I ask that you remain seated until we reach our destination and that you not eat or drink while on the bus. Secondly, please realize that it is against the law in Indonesia to get drunk in public. These rules are for your own comfort and safety I promise you are going to enjoy your stay at Tanah Kuning Beach. The beach is beautiful, quiet village where you can relax, sit by the beach, enjoy great meals and feel very safe. Ladies and gentlemen, now we are leaving from Tanjung Harapan airport. Were turning left to Tanjung Selor through Kolonel Soetadji street. Now we are in Tanjung Selor gateway and leaving from Tanjung Harapan airport. Ladies and Gentlemen, on your right side, we can see the new Governors office. For your information, This city will become capital city of new province, North Kalimantan. It consist of five regency, which are Bulungan, Malinau, Tana Tidung, Nunukan and Tarakan. And Tanjung Selor city will become the new capital. Right now, Tanjung Selor is the capital city of Bulungan Regency. Bulungan regency consist of 10 (ten) district, 7 (seven) prefecture and 79 (seventy nine) village with the area 13.181 (Thirteen Thousand One Hundred Eighty One) Kilo Meter square. Total population about 112.000 (One Hundred and Twelve Thousand) people. There are 3 (three) native tribe in Bulungan, Bulungan tribe, Dayak tribe and Tidung tribe. According to the legend of Bulungan people, the origin of the Bulungan word comes from the word Bulu Tengon. Bulu means Bamboo and Tengon means Egg. Because of the dialect, Bulu Tengon pronounced Bulongan which means Bamboo and Egg and it turned again into Bulungan. Tanah Kuning Beach is Located in East Tanjung Palas district. It can be reached with ground transportation and water transportation in the form of speedboat. The main attraction is the white sandy beach and beautiful sunset, whic is very romantic. You can enjoy swimming in the beach. We're going to be arrive to your homestay in just a few minutes. I want all of you gathers in the lobby in 15 (fifteen) minutes after you put your baggages in your room and change clothes, we will go to the beach. Is everyone ready? We meet again, my name is Delta, and today I will become your tour guide. How is your sleep? I hope all of you have a nice sleep last night. Our destination for today is Mangkupadi beach located in Mangku Padi village. The bus ride will take about 1 (one) hour. Mangkupadi beach is very beautiful, with white sandy beach. There are a lot activities you can do in this beach, you can swim, snorkeling and diving. If you like extreme sports, you can try jetski, banana boat or parasailing. If you love fishing, this is the best place to fishing. We're going to be arrive to Mangkupadi beach in just a few minutes. Please sit back and enjoy the view of the ocean on the left hand side of the bus as we enter the beach. I ask that you remain in your seats until we have come to a complete stop. Ladies and Gentlemen, Welcome to Mangkupadi Beach, please get off the bus. On your right side, you can see the beach and the left side theres some shops that sell souvenir. You can go swimming in the ocean. If you want to snorkeling or diving, you can rent the equipment from us, we have instructor to guide you also. If you want to try extreme sport, like banana boat, jetsky or parasailing, you can go to mr. Andi. He provide those services. We recommend that you do not purchase packages from local vendors as they are not always 100 percent reliable. They also may charge you more than what they say.
