Pictures
button.This will open up a File Browser windowwhere you can import pictures from yourComputer or from MSN Groups Website.300 pictures can be imported into onestory. (.bmp, .dib, .eps, .gif, .jfif, .jpe,.jpeg, .jpg, .pcd, .pcx, .png, .psd, .rle, .tgaand .tif are all extensions you canimport).

Locate the photos you want to feature inyour story from the
Look In
drop-downmenu.Select multiple pictures by holding downthe Ctrl button on your keyboard.When you have selected all the photosclick on the
OK
button.

Arrange the pictures in the order youwant them by dragging them on thefilmstrip.Click on
Remove black borders
tomake your work look more professionalto obtain a 4:3 aspect ratio (relation ofthe width to the height of the picture).

You can either edit one picture at a timeediting it as you please by clicking on
Yes
.Or you can edit all the pictures at one go
accepting Photo Story 3’s best “guess”
for editing by clicking the
Yes to All
 button.Back at Fig4. and satisfied with yourpictures click the
NEXT>
button.
 
Add a title to your pictures

Type out a title fit for your story, edit thetext style and position. Photos that havetitles added to them are by default static,but this can be amended.Change effect of photos. Effect optionsavailable are: Black and White, Chalkand Charcoal, Colored Pencil,DiffuseGlow, Negative, Outline black, Outlinegrey, Sepia, Washout, and Watercolour.
 
Move from one photo to another usingthe arrow button.Click

Narrate your pictures and customise motion

Record yourself relating what’s
happening in the picture. Click on the
record button
.Write notes here as hints to help younarrate while recording.Click on the
Customize
 
Motion
 button toedit motion of pictures.

Motion and Duration
tab you canedit the start position and end position ofyour photo.You can also edit how long it will take todisplay the picture.To edit the motion of different picturesuse the arrow keys and

after eachpicture.

From the
Transition
tab you can edit thetransition that plays when your storymoves from one picture to another. Tryto keep to one choice here not to overdoit. Too many different transitions maymake your work unprofessional.Move from one pictue to another usingthe arrow keys.
Save
every pictureedited.When ready from transition click
Close
