She says, Community service can help bring about a persons character. Sometimes its just putting yourself out there and using your time to volunteer in community activities that humbles yourself and makes you more aware of people and society.

Ever since high school, Tiffanie has been active in her home community by volunteering monthly at local nursing homes where she played piano and joined school clubs. She continued this service through college where she participated in health related extra-curricular activities and played at local churches in Philadelphia, PA. Since then she makes time to volunteer at post Hurricane Sandy NJ shore activities, Habitat for Humanity and local church activities. Tiffanie has always been a hard worker in academics and extracurricular activities where she has been awarded several acknowledgements on a county, state and federal level. She says, by getting out of my comfort zone and taking my own self initiative to volunteer, I helped cultivate my character. She always had a soft spot for the elderly and says, it was my motivation for volunteering at these places. It is no surprise that she decided to become a critical care and geriatric nurse. For the future, she hopes to get her Masters in nursing. However, like most young adults she has had internal struggles about her image, her beliefs and self-esteem. She learned through these community service activities of how to overcome these obstacles. It was through these encounters and she says, great examples/rolemodels in community that helped her become a stronger woman. She learned to utilize her gifts, talents and time for a greater purpose. As Ms. New Jersey America 2013 she wishes to spread and promote her platform: character development through community service. She is open to volunteering in the state of New Jersey for any speaking engagements, health related events or any type of function where she can utilize her crown.
