CENTER FOR CLEAN AIR POLICY
 
Founded in 1985 by a bipartisan group of state governors, the Center for Clean Air Policy seeksto promote and implement innovative solutions to major environmental and energy problems that balance both environmental and economic interests. The Center's work is guided by the belief that market-based approaches to environmental problems offer the greatest potential to reachcommon ground between these often conflicting interests. Through efforts at the state, federal,and international levels, the Center emphasizes the need for cost-effective, pragmatic, andcomprehensive long-term solutions.
