1.
Please use the #NoJusticeNoSleep or #NJNS tags in your tweets.
This will help your friends and followers track what is being said so they can find the information later if they aren’ttuned in during the town hall.2.
The town hall last approximately an hour.
IMPACT will lead the Twitter town hall from 1 PMEST to 2 PM EST. During that hour, we will send out information on “Stand Your Ground” lawsand the latest news on the case. At 2 PM,@TeamIMPACTaccount will wrap up the twitter chat.3. There should be at least one person tweeting from your account for the duration of the townhall. This will ensure the maximum IMPACT of the tweets and saturation to help get the
#NoJusticeNoSleep or #NJNS
tag trending and get more people to participate.4.
NO PARTISAN TWEETS!!
IMPACT is a non-partisan organization and we conduct our twitter chat strictly to encourage civic participation and political involvement. We cannot and will not useour hashtag to support any candidate or party.5.
Tweets should be issue specific.
Use this as an opportunity to demonstrate why it’simportant for people to stay engaged in efforts to repeal or amend “Stand Your Ground.”6.
