Grade Scholars,You now have the opportunity to Learn at Home!Even though school is closed, you can use this time to learn exciting new things and study whatyou have already learned.In order to stay on track for success:
 
Read from a book, magazine or newspaper of your choice each day
 
Study at least 15 vocabulary words per day
 
Write each day. For example:
o
 
Write a letter to President Obama or his daughters, Sasha and Malia
o
 
Start a journal and write about your day, your dreams, your friends, your familyand your plans
o
 
Write a letter or email to your teacher about the subjects and the activities youenjoy in school
o
 
Write a letter or email to a relative or a friend
o
 
Write a short story, poem, or lyrics to a song
 
Participate in a fitness activity and/or a creative activity to keep your body and your braingoing
 
Review your notes and books from school
 
Share what you learn each day with your parent or caregiverOn the following pages, you will find a day-to-day guide to help you stay organized and ontrack for success. It includes a suggested schedule, activities, and helpful websites.Please use the guide and fill in the chart each day outlining your accomplishments.
