Dr. Kayyam is a highly intelligent, perceptive young man. He came to Egypt some
years ago to study medicine in one of the newly evolved medical schools, affiliated to
the 6th of October University. This outstanding medical shool is under the supervision
and full control of the Kasr Al-Aini Faculty of Medicine of Cairo University, the largest
teaching medical institution in the Middle East. I participated as a delegate professor
in teaching surgery to Kayyam and his colleagues, an also as a supervising and
acting member of his final MBBCh.exam. And he left with the satisfaction of having
accomplished that goal.

On a personal and social level I knew Kayyam well during his growth in learning, in
character, and in depth of understanding. He seeks truth in each and every area of
his life, whether in learning, discussing, or relating to his fellow students and his
teachers... As a student, Kayyam was outstanding. As a young practicing doctor, I
got the impression that he will be talented in clinical medicine as in his work he was
consistent, active, energetic, dedicated and passionate, enthusiastic, cheerful, and a
pleasure to work with.
