2.HVAC drawings for:
•Graphical symbols, legend and general notes•Floor plans showing ductwork and piping.•Schematic and riser diagrams of piping systemsincluding chilled water, etc.•Equipment performance schedules,•Layouts and details of mechanical plant rooms•BACnet and control diagrams•Typical sections and miscellaneous installationdetails•Drawings shall conform to AIA standards forCAD drawing layers.•Specifications shall be to CSI format.•Buildings shall be supplied with Campus UtilityServices including electrical, telephone, data, firealarm, water supply, steam, etc. All utility servic-es shall be installed underground. Verify pointof connection with the Facilities Planning andDesign Unit/Physical Plant.
•Ratings of equipment including pumps, chillers,cooling towers, boilers, heat exchangers, hotwater storage tanks, water treatment equipmentand other systems•Cooling and heating load•Pipe sizes, such as hydraulic calculations•Duct weight•Static pressure for air handling units and fans•Ventilation•Fuel system sizing•Sump pits sizing•Rain water•Gas tanks sizing•Other calculations and analyses that assist indesign verification and as requested by theFacilities Planning and Design Unit.
4.Specifications (to CSI format) and5.Bill of Quantities (BOQ) with one fair priced esti-mate copy.
•Design documents shall be as detailed as neces-sary to interpret the design, avoid conflicts withother utilities during construction and ensurethat the project is implemented in accordancewith the University requirements as envisionedin the Master plan. In this effect, provide com-posite drawings and details for all utilities inorder to define the areas and zones where a pos-sible conflict may arise. Provide also UtilityDisposition plans and sections for project sitearea.
