Description

In 1942 the Blue Goose, a B-24 bomber, disappeared during a routine test flight from an airbase in Florida. After an intensive search, no trace of the plane or crew was ever found. Thirty years later, the remains of the copilot were discovered on a remote beach in northern Brazil. The pilot's son learns of the incident and decides to investigate. He is shocked to discover the copilot died from a gunshot wound.

In Brazil, he uncovers what he believes to be the murder weapon, a nine-millimeter Luger. He traces the pistol to a Luftwaffe pilot who served with the Condor Legion during the Spanish Civil War. In 1973, the investigation reaches an impasse. Years later, after a former Condor Legion pilot dies in a crash at Tenerife, a bizarre Nazi plot is uncovered and the mystery surrounding the disappearance of the Blue Goose is finally solved.
