The IELTS speaking test is in 3 parts:
InteractionPart 1Introduction andInterview
You will have the chance to speak on familiartopics. The examiner will ask you fairly simplequestions about familiar topics, which you will becomfortable with. Here you can demonstrateyour basic fluency.Part 2Short Talk
You will talk non stop for 1-2 minutes on a topicchosen by the IELTS examiner. You have 1 minuteto prepare (taking notes is possible), the topicschosen will be familiar to you e.g. about afamous person.Part 3Two-way discussion
Linked to the topic before (famous person) youwill be asked more questions and your answersshould be longer than in Part 1.
