The second annual NationalNight Out will be celebrated inEvesham Township on Aug. 6 atthe township municipal building.According to Barry Fitzgerald,co-chair of Evesham NationalNight Out, two K9 dogs will be atthe event providing a demonstra-tion for guests. Additionally,Bertucci’s and Rita’s will be serv-ing free food.“They’re our two big food spon-sors, they’re not charging, it’sgoing to be free,” Fitzgerald said.The National Night Out move-ment began in 1983 to help height-en crime awareness and preven-tion, generate support for, andparticipate in, anticrime pro-grams, strengthen neighborhoodspirit and police-community part-nerships and send a message tocriminals that neighborhoods areorganized and fighting back, ac-cording to the organization’s web-

Zydeco-a-Go-Go sings ‘See You Later Alligator,’ inviting the crowd to sing and clap along at the Promenade on July 24. The 10-year-old concert series has been drawing families and residents over the years, with prizes annually. This year, guests have a chance to wina big screen TV. The series will close on Aug. 28 with Marc Silver and the Stonethrowers.

Elks open golfouting Aug. 9
The Marlton Elks Open Golf Outing will be held Aug. 9 at theRamblewood Course. This all-dayevent with golf, lunch, dinner andauction will support Elks Kidscommunity programs.Friday, Aug. 9 will be a full-dayevent with 18 holes of golf, puttingcontest as well. The dinner eventand auction afterward are funevents with a great opportunityfor networking.Golfers are needed and spon-sorships available with more in-formation from Elks Curt Warren(856) 373-8669 or Tim Ori (609) 332-4467. The Marlton Elks provideprograms for the special needscommunity through N.J. Elkscamp Moore, with weeklong campexperiences.
