1 tbsp. oil1/2 tsp. salt1/2 tsp. oregano1/4 tsp. garlic powderCut off tops of peppers. Combine whole peppers and remainingingredients in saucepan. Simmer 15 minutes, adding water ifneeded, to keep beans from sticking to bottom of pan. Coolmixture and remove peppers. 1 cup uncooked rice1/3 cup chopped onion1/3 cup chopped green pepper2 tbsp. cooking oil2 cups chopped canned tomatoes1 cup water1 tsp. salt1/4 tsp. pepper1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce1/2 tsp. prepared mustard1 beef bouillon cubeSaute rice, onion and green pepper in oil until vegetables aretender. Add remaining ingredients. Bring to a boil. Reduce heatand simmer 20 minutes or until liquid is absorbed and rice istender. Serves 6 - 8.***********************************************************************************************

2 tsp. olive oil1/2 tsp. minced garlic1/2 cup chopped onion1 large tomato, chopped1 cup uncooked, converted rice1 small green bell pepper, seeded and diced1 - 13 oz. can chicken brothdash of red pepper1/2 tsp. oregano1/2 tsp. saltHeat oil in a dutch oven over moderate heat. Add garlic, onionand tomato. Cover and cook 3 minutes, or until onion is soft.Add rice and cook for 2 minutes, stiffing, until rice is shinyand hot. Stir in green pepper, chicken broth, red pepper,oregano and salt.
