Scripture reveals that the Saints are to be a set-apart (kadosh) priesthood, not a profane (worldlyand polluted) one. Which are you? Kadosh or profane?

n his Word YHVH revealed that ancient Israel's destiny was to become a kingdom o priests (Exod. 19:6) andas such become a light to the nations to lead them to YHVH (Deut. 4:6-8). Tis is why YHVH in his sover-eignty positioned the nation o Israel at the crossroads o the major trade routes o the ancient world—betweenthree continents: Arica, Asia and Europe. Israel did not ulll this prophetic destiny because o sin and rebellion. Tey desired to conorm their lives to the standards o the wicked nations around them rather than conorm to YHVH's standards o righteousness as revealed in the orah-law. Tose who come to aith in Yeshua the Messiah become children o Abraham and are thus Israelites (Rom.4:16; 9:8-11; Gal. 3:7, 9, 14, 28-29) who have been grated in to the olive tree o Israel (Rom. 11). Ancient Israelnever ullled its divine calling to a kingdom o priests and a light to the nations o the world. YHVH's callingand purposes or Israel are without repentance (Rom. 11:29). What ancient Israel ailed to accomplish because o disobedience, rebellion and aithlessness will be let to grated in Israel—the one new man in Yeshua the Mes-siah—to accomplish. Yeshua commissioned his disciples to preach the Good News (Gospel) o the kingdom o Elohim to the world (Mark 16:15; Acts 1:8). But more than that, his disciples were to become that kingdom o priests that ancient Israel missed the opportunity to become. We read in the Messianic Scriptures that the Saints o YHVH will be called kings and priests (or a kingdomo priests) o YHVH-Yeshua the Messiah and will reign with him during the 1000-year Millennium or MessianicAge.Revelation 1:5-6, “...o him, the one who loves us, who has reed us rom our sins at the cost o his blood, who has caused us to be a kingdom, that is,
cohanim
[priests] or YHVH, his Father...”(CJB).Revelation 5:9-10, “...At the cost o blood you ransomed or YHVH persons rom every tribe, language, people and nation. You made them into a kingdom or YHVH to rule,
cohanim
[priests]to serve him and they will rule over the earth” (CJB).Revelation 20:6, “Blessed and set-apart is anyone who has a part in the rst resurrection; over himthe second death has no power. On the contrary, they will be
cohanim
[priests] o YHVH and o Messiah, and they will rule with him or the thousand years” (CJB).During the Millennium, Messiah will be the King o kings. His government will be a theocracy with him, as theHigh Priest-King, at the head. Te Children o Israel operated under a theocratic rom o government with Moses

as the priest-king (he was rom the priestly tribe o Levi and was called a king in Deut. 33:4-5) as the humanhead o state. David Stern in his
 Jewish New Testament Commentary
(page 10) describes the role o the biblicalpriest to be like that o a prophet and to serve as spokesman and mediator between YHVH and man. Te prophetspeaks to man on behal o YHVH, the priest to YHVH on behal o man. In terms o practical job-descriptiontheir primary duty was to oer sacricial animals on the altar.O those who will be the priests to reign with Messiah during the Millennium, Christian commentatorMatthew Henry says in his commentary on Revelation 1:5-6 that Messiah has made Believers kings and priests to YHVH and his Father. As such they overcome the world, mortiy sin, govern their own spirits, resist Satan, prevail with YHVH in prayer, and shall judge the world.” Tis is an apt description o those who will qualiy to become priests in YHVH's kingdom, but let's denesome words Henry uses in his descriptions. How does Scripture dene
sin
? Sin in its simplest denition is thetransgression o YHVH's orah-law (1John 3:4). Henry says that the Saints as priests will “judge the world.” What does this mean? Do you know o any secular judge who makes judgments without ollowing some legalcode upon which civil law is based? O course not. What legal code is Scripture based upon? Te orah-law  YHVH gave to the Children o Israel through Moses. In numerous places YHVH instructed the priests and kingso that time to rule and judge on the basis o his orah-law. When they ailed to do so YHVH sent prophet aterprophet to warn them to turn rom their wicked ways and return to ollowing YHVH's laws. What standard o righteousness do you think YHVH's kings and priests will rule and judge rom during theMillennium? Tere is only one standard o truth outlined in Scripture: that is the orah (Ps. 119:142, 151), whichis YHVH's orah, which by strict etymological and scriptural denition simply means YHVH's
instructions
,
teach-ings
and
 precepts
in righteousness. Since YHVH's standards o righteousness do not change, or his character andnature do not change (Mal. 3:6) despite what religious men may say or do, it stands to reason that YHVH's kingsand priests will be orah-obedient Set-apart ones (Saints). In act, this is how the Book o Revelation denesthe Saints: they keep the orah-commandments o YHVH and have aith in Yeshua the Messiah (Rev. 12:17;14:12). Yeshua goes on to say in Matthew 5:19 that those who keep his orah-law will be called the greatest in hiskingdom (i.e., they will be kings and priests) while those who do not keep his orah-law will be called the leastin his kingdom. In other words, the higher the level o obedience to orah the higher will be one's rewards andresponsibilities in YHVH's kingdom. Yeshua told his disciples that i they loved him they would keep his (orah)commandments (John 14:15).
Te Saints Are Called to Be a Set-apart (
 Kadosh
) Nation
I you have repented o your sins, been washed in the blood o the Lamb and been born o the Set-apart Spirit(
Ruach haKodesh
) you are part o a set-apart priesthood. Tis is your identity according to Scripture. Get this into your spirit and
every day
live out the reality o it!!:1 Peter 2:5, 9-10,“You also, as living stones, are built up a spiritual house, a set-apart priest-hood, to oer up spiritual sacrices, acceptable to YHVH by Yeshua the Messiah...But youare a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a set-apart nation, a peculiar [purchased, ac-quired, i.e., YHVH's purchased possession (purchased/ransomed by the blood o his Son)]people; that you should show orth the praises o him who has called you out o darknessinto his marvelous light.” Te concept o a set-apart nation o priests was YHVH's ultimate desire and destiny or his people. For what pur-pose? o bring glory to YHVH who has called his people out o spiritual darkness and sin (orah-law violation)into the glorious light o his truth (obedience to YHVH's orah-instructions), to
show YHVH to the world
! Weare called to
show orth the praises o YHVH
or, in other words, to be
YHVH-praisers
which is exactly what the word
 Jew
or
Judah
means in Hebrew:
YHVH praisers
or
 givers o praise and thanksgiving.
We are called to ollow in thesteps o Yeshua the Jew by living a set-apart lie that shines as a light in the midsts o a dark, crooked and perverse world. Te idea o a set-apart nation o kings and priest is rooted rmly in orah:Exodus 19:5-6, “Now thereore, i you will obey my voice indeed, and keep my covenant, then you shall be a peculiar treasure unto me above all people, or all the earth is mine and you shall be unto me a kingdom o priests, and a set-apart nation.”

Deuteronomy 7:6, “For you are an set-apart people unto YHVH your Elohim. YHVH yourElohim has chosen you to be a special people unto himsel, above all people that are uponthe ace o the earth.” (See also 14:2)Deuteronomy 26:17-18, “You have [distinguished] YHVH this day to be your Elohim, andto walk in his ways, and to keep his statutes, and his commandments, and his judgments, and to hearken unto his voice: and YHVH has [distinguished] you this day to be his pecu-liar people, as he has promised you, and that you should keep all his commandments and tomake you high above all nations which he has made, in praise, and in name, and in honor;and that you may be a set-apart people unto YHVH your Elohim...” (See also Isaiah 43:1and itus 2:14)

As we have seen just above, it is our responsibility and prophetic destiny to become that kingdom o priests thatancient Israel never become. What are the steps to becoming a priest? Te orah lays out these steps. Let's look atthem to see how we as Believers in and priests o Yeshua our High Priest t into this pattern.Note the seven steps o consecrating the priests and compare them with the steps a Believer goes through tobecome a “chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a set-apart nation, a peculiar people that you should show orththe praises o him who has called you out o darkness into his marvelous light” (1 Pet. 2:9). See how the sevensteps relate to the steps a new Believer takes in his conversion process and how they relate to one’s journey romoutside the abernacle (
 Mishkan
) where the Altar o the Red Heier is located representing the cross o Yeshua, then into the door o the abernacle (i.e., Yeshua who is the door), to the Altar o Sacrice (i.e., a prophetic pic-ture o communion) to the bronze laver (i.e., immersion or the remission o sins and being washed in the watero the Word o YHVH), into the Set-apart Place where the
Ruach
(Spirit o Elohim) is and onward and upwardspiritually into intimate relationship with the Father. In Exodus chapters 28 and 29 we nd the ollowing:
1

Tey were taken rom among the children o Israel (28:1)
Tis pregures divine election. YHVH calls or chooses each person. Yeshua called his disciples. Tey did not call or choose him, but they had to respond to that call.
2
Tey were brought into the door o the abernacle (29:4)
Te door o the abernacle is Messiah Yeshua who is the door to the sheepold. No man comes to theFather except through Yeshua (John 10) Te door is our colors which speak o the person and work o  Yeshua: blue, scarlet, white and purple. It also speaks o the our Gospels, which is the door to under-standing the Person and work o Yeshua.
3
Tey were washed (29:4)
Upon accepting the work and Person o Yeshua one must be immersed or the remission o sins (Acts2:28) to identiy spiritually with the death, burial and resurrection o Yeshua (Romans 6:3-14), and the washing o the water o the Word (Eph. 5:26).
4
Tey were clothed in their ocial garments (29:4-9)
Te Believer is to put on the robes o righteousness (Gal. 3:27, “For as many o you as have been bap-tized into Messiah have put on Messiah.”). Paul talks about ruits o righteousness through Yeshua inPhilippians 1:1. Righteousness is orah obedience (Ps.. 119:172) and is a mark o the end time Believ-ers or Saints (Rev. 12:17 and 14:12) and o the bride o Messiah (Rev. 19:8).
5
Tey laid their hands on the head o the animals which were sacriced, blood was shed and sprin-kled on Aaron and his sons and
matzah
(unleavened bread) was waved and burnt and they ate theesh o the ram and the
matzah
(29:10-26, 32-33)
Each Believer has to take personal responsibility or his own sins. Te sacrice o Yeshua, the Lamb o Elohim, at the cross must become personal to each person. Each Believer has his own personal relation-
