    a. Remember that Gods favor is more important
    than mans favor, but both are important. (John
    12:42-43)
    b. Hold on to two things:
    Proverbs 3:3-4
    Let not mercy and truth forsake thee: bind
    them about thy neck; write them upon the
    table of thine heart:
    So shalt thou nd favour and good
    understanding in the sight of God and man.

    TRUTH

    MERCY
    Daniel requested (not demanded) the leadership
    for an alternative plan. v.9
    There will always be people that do not think favorably
    or highly of you. Make sure it is because of your love
    for God and your desire for mercy and truth, and not
    because youre a jerk.
