The proceeds went to the Wapato Lions Club. I also served food and beverages to the people who attended. I also served beverages and washed dishes during the event. I painted the faces of many young toddlers during the Tamale Festival. I coordinated a Red Cross Blood Drive at my school and registered many of my schools student body to donate blood for a great cause. Childrens Miracle Network, 2004 2008, 10 hours total, Ticket Seller; The Childrens Miracle Network is a non-profit organization that fund-raises for special childrens hospitals. I collected donations during my lunchtime from my schools student body to raise funding for the nations sick and injured children. Donald Road Clean Up Project, 2005, 6 hours total, Trash Sorter; This project focused on the beautification of Donald Road by ridding it of garbage materials Circle of Success, Reader, 2008, 3 hours total; the Circle of Success partnered with a local McDonalds company to advocate children literacy. Firemen's Breakfast, Food Server, 2007, 3 hours total; The Wapato Fire Department has its annual Pancake Breakfast Fund-raiser to help pay for new fire-fighting equipment. Wapato Presbyterian Church Turkey Dinner, Waiter, 2007, 3 hours total; The Wapato Presbyterian Church hosts its annual Turkey Dinner Fund-raiser to help pay for church-related fees. Saint Peter Clavers Parish, Volunteer Gift Distributor, 2007, 3 hours total; The Wapato Saint Peter Clavers Parish orchestrates is annual Giving Tree project and allows the youth to deliver gifts to families in need. Adams Elementary P.T.O. Halloween Carnival, Game Booth Coordinator, 2007, 2 hours total; I orchestrated many games booths for the Adams Elementary Parent Teacher Organization as a safe alternative to door-to-door trick-or-treating. Hurricane Katrina Relief Effort, 2005, 2 hours total, Money Collector for Red Cross; This relief effort raises money for victims and their families who were affected by Hurricane Katrina. Emerald Care Convalescent Center, 2007, Caroler and Gift Distributor, 2 hours total; The Saint Peter Claver Parish Church Choir Youth Group carols to the elderly and delivers them gifts during the holidays. Noahs Ark Homeless Shelter, 2008, Care Package Assembler, 2 hours total; I assembled bags full of hygiene items for my towns many homeless people at the shelter. Wapato High School Taco Feed, 2008, Food Server, 2 hours total; I served food to many community members who wanted to benefit the Senior Parent Committee. Adams Elementary P.T.O.
