1.PSLF/TNLA group and MyanmarGovernment Union PeaceWorking Committee, led by U Aung Min,metfor aState level peace discussionat Shwe Le Yadanar Hall of Mu Se town, northern Shan State, on31
July 2013from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm.2.ThePSLF Political discussion group was led by general-secretary Lt. Colonel TarPhone Kyaw andwascomprisedof the followingmembers:Deputy Commander Major…Tar Kue Lane, MajorTar Rot Khoung,Major Tar AungMyat., CaptainTar VaiKhoung, CaptainWin Pay, Captain Tar Soe Yam, Captain TarAungKo, and LieutenantTar LomeKyaeMya, nine officialsand other staff members from officeHeadquarters. There were 21altogetherin attendance.3.Myanmar’sGovernmentUnion PeaceWorking Committee was led by U Aung Min, Minister of thePresident Office,the other members were made up of;Minister U OhnMyint, Prime Minister of theShan State.USao AungMyat, Commander Brigadier General AungSoe of North-eastern Command, UAikMone, MP of Mantong, U MaungMaungSwe, MP of Namhsan,U MaungKyaw, Chief Official of Ta’ang(Palaung) special administrative region.There15 members in totalthatattended thediscussion.4.In addition,leaders fromtheallied forces of KIA, NMSP, SSPP attendedas alliedwitnesses along withleaders of Palaung national groups,Ta’angcity elders from MuseandNamkhamandleaders of Ta’angyouth and women organizationsparticipated in themeeting.5.The Peace Committee of the Union of Myanmarare trying tobuild genuine peace in the entire Ta’angregion,will meet with the Peace Committee of PSLF/TNLAagain to signa genuine cease fire agreementand to reduce the armed struggle and conflict. We reached an agreementtocooperate and coordinateour efforts inpeace buildingunderthe observationof Ta’ang townandcityelders and leaders fromallied forces.6.The PSLFcontinues to believe and expect that through genuine political dialogue, we can stop the civilwar andthatall nationalities in the country can livetogether peacefullywithfull and equal rights inpolitics.7.We give our deepest thanks to the officials and staff members ofthegovernmental Departments andto thestaff members of Top Star and SeinYa Da Nar Hotels.
