INTRODUCTION

Hi! My name is Krista. This is a

story about my cats. I have two cats.

One is named Midnight and one is

named Whisper. I love them. I will

love them always. I will tell you

about each of them so you can get to

know my cats.

 We found Whisper about three

months ago. He was under my

stepgrandma’s van. He was just a

kitten, he was very cute. Before we

could keep him, my stepgrandma put

an ad in the newspaper to make sure

he didn’t belong to someone.

 While we waited to find out if we

could keep him for our very own, we

gave him a bath and kept him warm.

My mom didn’t really like the idea of

keeping him, but when she got to

know him, she didn’t want to give

him up to anyone. No one called to

answer the ad, so we got to keep

Whisper.

 Midnight is our other cat. He is a

grownup cat, but he is still fun to play

with. We got Midnight from my

Grandma when he was just a couple

of weeks old. We have had him for

three years now. Midnight sleeps on

the back of the dryer. He loves to go

outside, except when there is snow

and he loves to eat his cat treats.

 At first midnight did not like

Whisper, but now they are very good

friends. They love to play hide and

go seek. Sometimes they will get into

trouble. Often they knock things over,

and sometimes they will break things.

This sometimes makes us angry, but

we would not hurt them or give them

up for anything.
