Can You Trust God?

As this verse eludes, we will all faceadversity, trauma, pain, etc in thisworld. It is in these moments that weare tempted to wonder if we can trustGod. When you are faced with thisquestion, remember these three truths:1. God in His love always willswhat is best for us.2. In His wisdom He always knowswhat is best.3. In His sovereignty He has the power to bring it about.(Excerpts from Trusting God EvenWhen Life Hurts by Jerry Bridges)Jesus assures us in John 16:33,
"I havetold you these things, so that in me youmay have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I haveovercome the world."
A comforting promise indeed! When you areexperiencing any trial, remember to
"Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your ownunderstanding."
-Proverbs 3:5By Tiffany Thompson
