U.S. and I ndia.

The effects of the opening of the economy 15 years ago have begun to be manifested over the last
few years in renewed demand of new housing projects, additional commercial and recreational
spaces and well planned ecological friendly townships based on international standards. My firm's
focus over the last few years has been guided to a large extent by this new demand.

I n this growing economy of today, development has understandably become a national priority but many a times the environment has had to take a back seat to accommodate growing needs of an increasing population. As this increasing population puts a strain on the land and our resources, it becomes all the more important to create landscapes that are self sustaining, conserve water and use local materials wherever possible.

Our current projects include several housing, commercial and recreational projects as well as hotels and resorts in various parts of I ndia. We are currently in the finishing stages of designing the Noida Amusement Park, which when completed will be I ndia's finest and largest amusement park of its

kind. We are also involved at the 160-acre Mega Sports Complex for the forthcoming National Games
in Ranchi. Another major project is the Khalsa Heritage Memorial Complex in Anandpur Sahib,
Punjab with the internationally acclaimed architect Moshe Safdie.

I believe in never to lose sight of the 'big idea' in a design, achieving clarity in design by balancing environmental concerns and client needs. Given the complexity of our profession, it's easy to get caught in details and lose track of thinking about whether the users will be able to easily comprehend the thought process that went into the design.
