Method of Evaluating Qualifications:
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSA)Candidates WILL BE evaluated on the KSA’s listed below and must be addressed to beconsidered.
In addressing each KSA you should describe, accurately and completely, thetasks, activities, education and experience which demonstrate your possession of the KSAlisted below. Also,
give the percentage of time or number of months you performed theKSA
. Include all military experience, qualifications or training in MOS related to the position.Mere possession of an MOS is not necessarily qualifying experience, months of actualexperience is the qualifying factor.
General Experience
Experience, education, or training which has provided the candidate with the skill to remove andreplace aircraft parts, accessories, and components and to make adjustments and settings toestablished specifications. Must be skilled in the use of hand tools and test equipment.
Specialized Experience
On a separate sheet of paper, identify how you gained specialized experience required for thisposition.Months of experience needed to qualify at each grade that demonstrate the followingknowledge, skill, and abilities (KSAs):

1. Ability to perform inspections, functional checks, and preventative maintenance onaircraft to include periodic, phase, hourly, preflight, post flight, calendar, thru-flight, andspecial inspections such as fuel contamination, emergency equipment, and oil sampling.2. Ability to troubleshoot and perform unscheduled maintenance on assigned and transientaircraft, utilizing various gauges, meters, measuring devices and other related testequipment.3. Knowledge in the removable and replacement of aircraft components such as controlsurfaces, engines, constant speed drive, engine mounted gear boxes, etc.
