“This is boring!”

Every teacher has heard this statement. It signals the death of learning. A student who is bored is not paying attention to the lesson and cannot possibly learn. To allow learning to take place, teachers must create students who are the opposite of bored – students who are entertained! This does not require singing, dancing, or anything of the sort. The definition of “entertain” is “pleasantly hold attention.” Teachers must accomplish this without training, as the skill is not taught in college.

Create Captivating Classes fills this gap in teachers’ training. The methods of entertaining are broken down and presented in an organized, step-by-step fashion from an entertainer’s point of view. Each point is then correlated to the teacher’s point of view and the value to a lesson or to teaching in general.
