The Welcome Page
When you open Lotus Notes you will prompted with the
Welcome Page
(as shown in
 Figure 1.1)
. The main icons shown allow you to access your 
Mail, Calendar, Contacts,To Do List 
and
 Personal Journal 
.You can customise the
Welcome Page
from the default setting to show a look moresuited to your needs. For example, you may wish the
Welcome Page
to show your 
Mail 
  box,
Calendar 
and
To Do
 
 List 
all on the same page. To do this, click on
▼
where it says‘
Click here for Welcome Page options’ 
. A section above the main icons will now appear (as shown in
Figure 1.2
) and you can either choose one of the suggested options byclicking within the
Current Welcome Page
selection menu or you can create your ownlook by clicking on the
Create a new Welcome Page.
