PATTERN CROCHET LAMP
 © My Crochet ShopGeneral hints-

In this pattern you increase by doing 2DC in a 1-chain-opening. In between theDC’s you do 1 chain stitch. So you do: 1DC, 1 chain stitch, 1DC in a 1-chain-opening.-

At the end of every row, count if you have the same number of DC’s as thenumber that’s mentioned in between brackets at the end of that row.-

I used Drops Paris cotton for this lamp. I used the colours: light grey, mustard, petrol and off-white. I used 1 ball of yarn for every colour but it’s wise to get 2balls for the blue part because it was just enough for me. If you crochet a bitmore loose then I do, you might get into trouble. Ofcourse you can choose anycolour you like, just remember to use a 4mm crochet hook.

A lamp made out of rice paper, size 30cm. Try google to find them in a shop nearyou.

How to assemble the lampThe lamp is made out of two halves. Below you’ll find a pattern for the fist half. Make twoof those halves. Once you’ve done that, place the edges of the last rows on top of eachother (so the yellow parts). Place the DC on the DC and the 1-chain-openings on the 1-chain-openings. Use a long yellow thread for sewing. Go through the top of the DC andalso through the loops of the 1-chain-openings. Repeat this all the way round and makesure it is sewed tightly. Place the rice paper lamp in the crochet cover when you’rehalfway. Make sure the paper lamp is still flat at this point, don’t place the metal frame init just yet. Now finish the sewing of the crochet cover. When you’ve finished sewing andclosed the cover, place the metal frame in the paper lamp through the opening in the topor bottom. Make sure to do this very gentle and pull the crochet cover slightly to make itgo more easy.Crochet pattern
