You have delivered me from the snare of the fowler From the deadly pestilence, you have covered me with your pinions. Under your wings, I find refuge; your faithfulness is buckler and shield.
I fear no terror of the night or the arrow that flies by day. I fear no pestilence that stalks in darkness, nor the destruction that wastes at noonday. A thousand may fall at my side, ten thousand at my right. It will not come near me. I will only look with my eyes and see the how the wicked are repaid.
Oh God, I have made you my dwelling place; Oh most high, I have made you my refuge; No evil shall be allowed to befall me. No plague will ever come near me. Oh God, you have commanded your angels concerning me: to guard me in all my ways. Your angels bear me upon their hands lest I strike my foot against a stone.
l tread on the lion and the adder; the young lion and the serpent I trample underfoot. Because I hold fast to you in love, you deliver me; you protect me because I know your name. I call on you and you answer me; you are with me in times of trouble; you rescue me and honor me. With long life, you satisfy me. You have shown me my salvation.
