This is an evening and weekend course facilitated by Diane Kashin and Louise Jupp http://tecribresearch.wordpress.com with the support of teaching faculty from Richland Academy and Acorn School, designed to be learner rather than presenter-led. Participants will investigate and explore engaging materials in the spirit of Messing About, as inspired by Frances and David Hawkins. Learners will have ample opportunities to engage with Reggio inspired teachers as they negotiate art and nature projects with children. Based on actual invitations to practice the pedagogy of listening, participants will create and critique documentation. Participants will also spend time each day, outside of the hours spent with learning colleagues, engaging in an online component featuring videos, social media platforms and virtual discussion. Meals and refreshments will be provided.
