Kunstfabrik Schlot is one of Berlin’s most renowned cabarets and jazz clubs. The cellar rooms of an old factory host anything from duos to big bands. Spiegeltüren, Ventilatoren und ein Hauch von Sozi-alismus gepaart mit Drum’n’Bass, 60´s, 80’s, Pop und Dancemacht die Abende in dieser ausgefallenen Location zu einembesonderen Erlebnis.
With its nostalgic red décor, light sconces, parquet floor- ing, heavy curtains and small tables, the “Red Salon” on the side of the Volksbühne theater reminds us of our grandmother’s living room, but the comparison to the dachshund breeders clubhouse isn’t that farfetched either.But that shouldn’t dampen the fun – just the opposite. Mir- rored doors, ceiling fans and a hint of socialism paired withdrum n’ bass, 60´s, 80´s, pop and dance tunes makes the nights in this worn location special.
