Tower Hamlets Benefit Justice

AXE THE BEDROOM TAX AND BENEFIT CUTS

Cant pay - wont move Cut rents not benefits No evictions!
Cuts in housing and disability benefits and sanctions on unemployment benefit, means tens of thousands of households in Tower Hamlets face debt, hunger and eviction. We are united to demand an end to the unjust benefit cuts.
Action plan: 1.) Talk to friends and neighbours, organise a meeting and contact the campaign we need to fight this together. 2.) Challenge decisions, appeal, and apply for discretionary housing payments from Council offices or online at towerhamlets.gov.uk>Housing>Benefits 3.) Demand our councillors and MPs stand with us - the Council and other landlords must not evict people in arrears due to benefit cuts 4.) Stand together against evictions get in touch immediately if you or anyone you know faces an eviction threat. 5.) Join protests at Ministers, landlords, courts and against bailiffs. 6.) Put this poster in windows and notice boards help spread the word!
